Ava, Training AssistantWe are glad to welcome Ava to the Mary’s Angels Dog Training Team!
From a young age, Ava knew that her passion was in working with animals. In high school, she worked as a dog walker and pet sitter. She grew to add dog training to her skill set when she trained her own service dog, Goofy! While still in high school, Ava contacted Mary to ask to shadow and learn from her, as she knew the key to being a good dog trainer lay in continuing to learn and improve her skill set. Ava and Mary began meeting regularly to discuss dog training, and quickly developed a strong friendship and mutual respect. Now Ava is in college and is taking classes in veterinary medicine to enhance her skill set. When Mary had a job opening for a dog training assistant, she knew immediately who to hire! Ava continues to offer dog walking, training and pet sitting services on the side, and her skill set continues to grow. We are proud to have her on board as a member of the Mary’s Angels Dog Training Team! |
