COVID-19 Precaution Plan

Learn about the steps Mary's Angels Dog Training (MADT) is taking to prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Mary's Angels Dog Training Staff Protocol

MADT Staff will observe the following protocol to protect your health and safety.
The below items will be observed at each training session.
  • Staff will wear face covers (masks) that cover the nose, mouth, and chin whenever in proximity to clients and other people outside of the staff member’s own household.
  • Staff will check their temperature in the morning, at least 1 hour before the first dog training session of the day, and inform all clients if the temperature of any human household member is higher than normal. (No specifics need to be given, simply a report of “temperature is high” or “temperature is normal” will qualify.)
  • Staff will maintain a minimum 6-foot distance from clients and other people outside of the staff member’s own household at all times. The 6-foot distance may be marked by cones or some other marker, which the client and staff are expected to abide by.
  • Staff will wear gloves when handling any dogs or equipment that belong to clients.
  • Staff will inform all clients as soon as possible if any member of their household is exhibiting symptoms of or may have been exposed to COVID-19.
  • Staff will use hand sanitizer before and after all sessions with clients.
  • Staff will NOT enter client’s homes. All training sessions will take place outside, either in the client’s yard or on-leash at a predetermined outdoor location.
    • If in the client’s yard, staff will communicate with clients upon arrival, and arrange a safe way for staff to enter the property.
  • Staff will wipe any shared equipment with disinfectant wipes that meet CDC standards before departing.
